Now, I received the Sun Shadz which is the translucent version of Hair Shadz however, I do want to try out the Hair Shadz for the added benifits! So, This is what I received....

I love the applicator, it is extremely easy to use. For your first use, you will need to "prime" your brush. You will do this by turning the silver flow indicator to level 3 ( there are 3 flow levels: level 1 is min. flow, level 2 is med. flow and level 3 is max. flow)   just turn upset down and tap lightly against the palm of your hand until the powder starts to dispense. Now, your ready to use it. You just turn it upside down and apply generously to the roots and scalp. I like to part my hair in sections when applying to make sure I get it really good on the roots and scalp. Then when your done, turn the flow indicator to the off position ( which will be the picture of the circle.) then you will slide the plastic sleeve up, over the bristles, as shown below.....

This helps to protect the bristles while your putting the black cap on the bottle and then just apply slight pressure until you hear the click and feel that it is locked. I love that they thought about all the details. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design of this bottle. When it's empty you will not have to buy another applicator, you will buy a refill. The bottom of this bottle twist off, you then take off the little cap and pour the mineral powder in and voila! It's full and like new again! They also sell a brush cleaner to make sure you keep all the icky's and germs away! 

I love this product!  You don't even know it's there, it actually adds volume to my hair and makes it look better! As one that has been personally touched by Cancer, I know the horrible effects that this horrible and many times, fatal disease can cause. Prevention is Key! Although, I have personally been affected by Cancer and think of myself as being cautious and knowledgeable, I must admit that I never really stopped and thought about Scalp Cancer or using sun screen to prevent it.
