Hello Fashion Bugs, It's that time again! Time for Ipsy! This is definitely one of my favorite beauty boxes along with Lip Factory! These are the two best I have found so far for Makeup and the prices for both can't be beat! The Lip factory is incredible this month, I have that review up in a couple more days but now...It's time to get to what Ipsy had in store for us this month!

This months Ipsy bag is all about "Getting red carpet ready" so all the fabulous products came in a patent leather-look makeup bag, The lining on the inside is a beautiful red color. I really like this bag...Super cute!

I really love these cards! They are not only great for preventing mascara smudging but they are also perfect for separation and length. A regular sample pack of these have two cards in them but in true amazing Ipsy fashion, they actually worked with Lash Card to create a special Ipsy deluxe sample, which includes 4 cards!
Mica Beauty Cosmetics- Gel Eyeliner - Deluxe Sample- Value- $15
I love this eyeliner, I have just really started getting into the gel liners like this, This one didn't come with a brush so I just used one I already had but I would have liked to see a brush with this one but it was no biggie and the quality of the liner more than made up for that. Pixi Flawless & Poreless Primer- .5 oz- Value- $7.50
I love Pixi Products, I have tried many different eye and lip products from this brand but had never tried their primer before. I am so glad that Ipsy included this, I love it! It doesn't have that gritty feeling to it...I don't really know how to describe it...Hopefully you guys know what I mean, specially if you use a primer.
Pop Beauty Smokey Lash Kapow Mascara- 0.17oz Value- $12.75
I love, love, love Pop Beauty products! Everyone I have tried has been awesome and this mascara was no exception! Doesn't smudge or clump and makes my lashes POP! This is more than half the size of the Full size mascara too....Love that!
Coastal Scents Eye Shadow Quad in Glitz & Glamour - Deluxe sample- Value- $ 2
I love Coastal Scents Eye shadow, I received a different quad in the October bag. This month their was 2 different quads you could get, this one and one with golds and yellows...This is the one I really wanted, so I was very happy to see this in my bag. Coastal Scents in super affordable and the shadows are very pigmented, last all day, go on beautifully...I just can't say enough about how good they are. Verdict: Another awesome bag! I paid $10 and received $40.05 worth of amazing products ( not including the value of the bag which is worth at least $5 so you actually have a value of $45) I love all the products and the colors I received, I will definitely use everything and there a couple items that I know I will be buying again. I loved seeing a product from Mica Beauty and hope to see more from them. I have never been disappointed in a bag from Ipsy and matter of fact I have never disliked one single product I have received in an Ipsy bag. I have found several products that have become my "holy grail" products, thanks to Ipsy. I think this is a bag for every female, regardless of age or ethnicity. This would also make a perfect gift for anyone and at only $10 a month anyone can afford it. Every bag I have received has had over a $30 value and my October bad had a value of $166 because with the lip gloss we got in our bags that month also had a code and if you were on of the first 500 to enter your code you got the full size instant lash transplant, which is a 3 piece set and sales for $90 dollars. I received mine towards the end of December and it is amazing! I am actually going to do a full review on it. It is unbelievable, you won't believe my before and after pics.I will get that posted within the next week or two. Well, enough of that. Ipsy is an amazing subscription box and the value is incredible! You get a lot of full size products and the rest are deluxe...NO Foil packets...EVER! I highly recommend this to everyone! It's only $10!!! Go ahead and got this one, you will not regret it, I promise!!

I love Ipsy. Birchbox was sending me boxes of foil packets so I cancelled, but Ipsy is great every month! I received the eyeshadow quad "In the Spotlight," which isn't a great match for my skin so I'll either try to trade it or gift it. Also, I like the idea of the lash card but didn't know they'd be disposable. I traced the shape on a blank plastic card, cut it out and will be using that. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, I have been with Birchbox the longest of all my boxes and I was very happy with them until about the last 4 months...I have been very disappointed and out of all the great boxes they had this month...I am getting the worst! It hasn't got here yet and I am not even looking forward to it but I can't make myself leave them yet...I just have this feeling that they are totally going to redeem themselves..I'm hoping anyways..I will give them a little longer to get it together and then I may have to say good bye as well! On the other hand I love Ipsy! I look forward to them every month and have not been disappointed at all yet...Great idea with the lash card, I actually received a pretty awesome reusable lash thing..Don't know what to call it, from Starlooks a couple of boxes ago...which I like but I do like to have these disposable lash cards to keep in my bag!
